RiverRat Outfitters— Zone 9 Archery Hunts
We realize you have waited a longtime to get your bow tag and we want you to fill your tag as bad as you do. That’s why depending on where you live we’re going to let you hunt as often as you can.
At RiverRat Outfitters our rule is simple…hunt as long as your tag is valid.
RiverRat Outfitters supplies you with 7 days of lodging on your first hunt and if you’re unsuccessful during that seven days of hunting you’re more than welcome to come back and hunt for free, but you will be responsible for the lodging expense. I don’t care if it’s with a minutes notice my friend I will promise you a damn good spot to hunt on my leases. We don’t do calendar hunts either, just tell us what day you wish to arrive and we’ll be ready.
I am not lying to you when I say we are in the God’s Country of Iowa. Nothing around here is flat, its all huge hardwoods with corn and beans on the flat spots. RiverRat Outfitters is situated in Northeast Iowa on the Mississippi River, in Iowa DNR Zone-9.
Your archery tags is valid for almost 75 days so hunt whenever its convenient for you. Total cost of hunt $3500. Your $1750 deposit is required to book a hunt with RiverRat Outfitters. Personal checks are accepted for deposits only and the $1750 balance is due upon arrival. We accept cash, travelers checks & money orders. No personal checks allowed. Along with hunting ground and 7 days of lodging. meals at any fine restaurant in town but I will not pay for the booze. You’re also going to get a doe to take home after we grill the back straps for supper.
We believe nobody would wait years for a tag and put a bad shot on a trophy buck on purpose, meaning if you shoot a buck and we can’t find him you’re still going to be allowed to hunt for another one or come back and try again later in the season. We also have some ground that is bow hunting only and no one is allowed to hunt this area with a gun. Give RiverRat Outfitters a shot and you won’t regret it I promise you that.
You must have at least 2 points to book a hunt for archery. You will draw a tag normally that 3rd year but if by chance you don’t , your
deposit is safe and it will roll over to the next year. We understand
restricted hunting is a bitch, but that’s why we have some of the biggest deer in the world and I do mean world.
If you have 0 points and want to book a hunt 3 years in advance so you’re at the top of the list for a rut hunt you ca do so, but it will cost you $500 to do so.
When you book an archery hunt and wish to see my farms and look around you’re more than welcome to get a turkey tag and hung for free or go shed hunting if you choose to.
Tree stands, climbers, Rhinotm ground blinds will all be available for you to use, and decoys also. The bottom line is this area of the state is loaded with monster bucks and if you hunt hard and don’t get drunk at night, your chances of putting a wall hanger in your bedroom are very good!
